Founded in 1968 by Harold Livergant—a visionary dedicated to improving seniors’ care—Extendicare has grown from a single home in Ottawa to become one of Canada’s largest providers of long-term and home health care. Today, we operate through Extendicare, ParaMed, Extendicare Assist, and SGP Purchasing Network brands to ensure that seniors receive the care they need, wherever they call home.
